Our office has now returned from annual leave and we wanted to share a few of our personal highlights from the holiday season. We would also love to hear from you on your highlights.
The Jansen family were treated with some awesome weather where we holidayed at home and spent every second day on the beach improving our body surfing skills, spent lots of much valued time with family and friends, supported our local community, and took advantage of additional time to work on our fitness.
The Virr family had planned to go to the UK for Christmas however could not make it and had a nice quiet Christmas lunch at home, eating WAY too much! We visited local parks and gardens, a lot of walking and swings involved and enjoyed a day out at SeaWorld where I was tricked into going on a new ride called the ‘The Vortex’. During the break my 2 year old practiced her counting and can now proudly count to 10 and my 11 year old has started her ‘learning French’ journey.
The Wilesmith family spent Christmas with family enjoying a traditional English Hot Roast. After Christmas we went on Holidays to Moreton Island where we stayed at Tangalooma resort and explored the island in our 4WD. We enjoyed snorkelling at the wrecks, Kayaking on the bayside, feeding the dolphins and discovering hidden beaches, we managed to capture some great photos on our new drone.
I spent time with friends in the new year relaxing at a 1915 vintage Queenslander home in Gympie. I visited local farms and did some berry picking, visited a couple of local distilleries and went for a swim at Rainbow beach and in Noosa heads. Was treated to some nice weather, much cooler than expected while we were up there.
The Roberts family enjoyed a trip to Victoria to spend time with extended family whom we’d not seen for a year. Loved the cooler weather and the change of scenery and even better to come home to sunny Queensland and the pool.
It’s great to be back to get stuck into 2021 and we look forward to working with you this year. In the meantime, if we can be of any assistance please don’t hesitate to give our office a call on 1300 784 084 or contact your adviser directly.
